Having used Henkelman equipment in the past it was not a difficult decision to make when looking at upgrading our current system. We did explore other options but felt that the automatic double chamber would be ergonomically a better machine for the business as well as production team.

The business has seen an increase in the requirement for vacuum packed product to enhance shelf life, which would put additional pressure on the team. Removing the manual handling of a heavy lid has been an immediate improvement for the production team.

Our hourly throughput has also increased as every cycle is better utilised.

I would strongly recommend Henkelman vacuum pack equipment and especially the automatic version (which can also be put into a manual mode) primarily to reduce repetitive strain on the production team.
