Our Process


STEP 1

Pre-service vacuum check will be taken to record the minimum vacuum before work is undertaken; this is an essential check to find out if the vacuum packer is working correctly.

STEP 2

Oil will be drained and “sludge” build-up flushed out to ensure the vacuum pump life is extended to its maximum. Pump exhaust filter replaced as required & the correct grade oil will be filled to the correct level.

STEP 3

Vacuum pump exhaust filters are checked for clogging and replaced where necessary – filters are essential for ensuring the oil is strained and cleaned correctly, clean filters prevent misting to atmosphere.

STEP 4

Lid seal and anvil rubbers are inspected for cuts and splitting, burned anvil rubber could indicate over heating seal bars during the sealing cycle or incorrect program setting.

STEP 5

Seal bar(s) are removed and stripped with new teflon heat resisting tape, seal wires, & fibreglass insulation strip fitted.

STEP 6

Finally as the vacuum packer is assembled prior to testing, electrical components are checked too. Lid struts are inspected for optimum performance, and inlet and exhaust valve solenoids inspected for any damage.

Finally…

The machine will be run and a final vacuum gauge check made to ensure the machine is working correctly and adjusted to provide optimum vacuum.

Programs will be checked and any defects / observations reported to customer.
